Wavqelori's organisational functions explained
The Wavqelori system provides a suite of tools focused on a single task: taking a body of digital information and making it easier to review. Each function in the system is part of a sequential process, from the point where a collection enters the system to the point where a user examines the organised result.
This page describes each function in the order it is applied. Understanding the sequence makes it easier to interpret what the interface displays and to identify at which stage a given aspect of the organised output was determined.
Request accessHow a collection moves through the system
Each stage in the process below is applied in sequence. The output of each stage becomes the input for the next.
Collection intake
A collection of digital information is submitted to the system. At this stage, the content is received and prepared for processing. No modification occurs during intake; the system records the content as provided. The structure of the submitted collection, including the number of items and any existing labels or attributes, is preserved at this point for reference during later stages.
Attribute extraction
The system identifies and records the attributes of each item in the collection. Attributes are the properties used during classification: they might include text content, associated dates, identifiers, or other structured values depending on the type of collection. Extraction does not involve generating new attribute values; it involves reading those already present in the submitted content.
Category assignment
Each item is assigned to a category based on the extracted attributes and the system's defined classification criteria. Where an item's attributes match more than one category's criteria, the system applies a priority rule to determine the primary assignment. Items that do not match any defined category are assigned to a catch-all grouping for further review.
Intra-category sorting
Once all items have been assigned to categories, items within each category are sorted according to the configured sorting rules. The sort order is applied uniformly across all categories. The resulting order is what the user encounters when reviewing a category through the interface. Sorting is non-destructive: the original submission order is retained in the system record and can be referenced separately.
Structured display
The classified and sorted collection is presented through the Wavqelori review interface. Categories are listed with their assigned items displayed in the sorted order. The interface provides navigation between categories and allows users to focus on a single item or expand to the full collection view. No additional processing occurs at the display stage; what the interface shows is the direct output of the classification and sorting stages.
Functions available within the review interface
Beyond the core classification and sorting process, the Wavqelori interface provides several tools to assist users during review.
Category navigation panel
A persistent panel listing all categories present in the current collection. Selecting a category brings its sorted items into view. The panel updates to indicate which category is currently displayed.
Item detail view
Each item in a category can be expanded to show its full detail alongside the attributes used for its classification. This view is useful when the reason for a particular category assignment needs to be checked.
Collection summary report
A summary view of the entire collection, showing the number of items in each category and the overall item count. This report provides a high-level picture of the collection's composition without requiring category-by-category review.
Unmatched item review
Items that could not be assigned to any defined category are collected in a dedicated review area. This area lists unmatched items along with the attributes the system evaluated during its classification attempt.
Sort order reference
The criteria used to sort items within each category are documented in a reference panel accessible from the review interface. This reference does not allow changes to the sort order; it is informational only.
Enquiry link
A direct link to the enquiry form is available from within the review interface, making it straightforward for users to contact support if they encounter an unexpected classification result or require clarification.
